My wife never likes the “butt” of the bread. I always use it when I make the kid’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and don’t see a problem. This comic was fun to do and is one of my current favorites. I’ve been on a low-carb diet and try to stay away from alot of bread right now.

Lil: It's just the end piece.
Lyle: Yes, it's the rear end of the bread, the worst part.

I like the “butt” of the bread especially when you have it toasted and applied with a layer of butter and sprinkled some fine sugar on it.
I agree with your wife. There’s just something about the “butt” ends of the loaf that just drive me crazy. I refuse to eat them and I’ll throw ‘em away.

I’ll eat the bread ends, but they have to be turned inside out. They often get thrown away in my house.
