Philodendrum?

Philodendrum?

First of all, I’d like to say that I do know that “philodendrum” is not a real plant. I just liked the name and how many plants can you really say are corn-fed and home-schooled? Secondly, I’d like to say that I don’t have a “secondly.”

Visiting a flower shop, Leo and Lyle see different versions of potted plants and weigh the attraction to each.
Lyle: Leo, Look! A red rose. I'll bet she likes romance.
Leo: She's too proper for me, Lyle.
Lyle: Maybe this Philodendrum?
Leo: No way. She looks corn-fed and home-schooled.
Lyle: Have you any idea what you're looking for?
Leo: I want a nice busty sunflower minus the superiority complex. I'll call her "Bambi" and she can call me, "Thumper." You feelin' me? I really don't care what she calls me as long as she calls me.
