It was really weird but I couldn’t update for September 31st. It would send me back to 1999. I don’t want to go back there (UPDATE: Turns out there is only 30 days in September. This is why I need to get my sleep and not stay up ’til 3:00am).

Anyway, I saw the preview for “Where the Wild Things Are.” I am impressed and afraid all at the same time. On one hand I want to see it. It seems magical. On the other hand, I just know that they couldn’t do it justice and I feel that some of the magic from the book will wear off. What am I saying. I don’t believe in that magic mumbo jumbo stuff. Bring on the movie already. When does it open!

This comic is from reality as I met someone that had no idea what, ” Where the Wild Things Are.” It made me sad and I had to illustrate it to work things out. There, now I am a happy human again. I’m glad I am a cartoonist or this would have taken a couple of years of therapy.
